To kick off June 2024, I photographed Annapolis Pride during Pride month for the organization who host the parade and festival: Annapolis Pride! Annapolis Pride’s mission is to advocate for, empower, and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in Anne Arundel County to live fully and authentically. A safe, equitable, and anti-racist community where people of all identities thrive. Over 100 groups marched in the parade this year and the pride parade was joined by Governor Wes Moore, the first sitting governor to march in Annapolis Pride!
