Ashby Inn Wedding in Paris, Virginia

Sharing this gorgeous fall sunset wedding ceremony photographed at The Ashby Inn located in Paris, Virginia! The Inn was originally built as a private residence in by local blacksmith Manley Pierce in 1829. Confederate generals Stonewall Jackson & Joseph E. Johnston both slept on the original front porch of the Ashby Inn on their way to the First Battle of Manassas in 1861. Col. John Singleton Mosby stayed in the town of Paris during the war and Union general Ulysses S. Grant and his troops bivouacked in the Grove of White Oaks behind the tavern. The Ashby Inn now serves as a bed and breakfast as well as a wedding venue! They offer a beautiful country setting on their property as well as The Ashby Chapel.
