Photographed this surprise proposal in a private dinning room at Baby Shank on U st in Washington, DC! Baby Shank Restaurant is located on U Street NW at the corner of U St, 16 St, and New Hampshire Avenue.
The historic building was originally owned by the National Capital Brewing Co. Built in 1911, the original exposed brick, mansard roof, and arched windows set the mood. Warmly lit by chandeliers and accented with walls of wood and glass, the split-level space has a modern, yet soothing rustic feel.
