Vue is a rooftop bar and restaurant at the Hotel Washington with views of the Washington Monument and White House! You can make a restoration for dinner online on their website. You can book a table with a view 11 stories up!
The View of DC
The View of DC is across the Potomac in Arlington, Virginia but offers a 360 view 400 feet above ground! You can see the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, and Capitol! This venue typically does not allow professional photography equipment so coordination with the venue management is required!
Top of the Gate
Top of the Gate is a rooftop bar at the famous Watergate Hotel! The rooftop lounge at The Watergate Hotel boasts commanding 360-degree views of the Kennedy Center, the Potomac River, the Key and Arlington bridges, the Washington Monument, and the rest of the D.C. skyline. You need a reservation and approval from the hotel for professional photography to plan a proposal at this location!
Top of the Town
Top of the Town is a private venue and event space in Arlington, Virginia with another great view of the Washington, DC skyline! You can take an elevator up to the top floor to witness this view!

The Library of Congress is a great indoor proposal location to avoid the weather. It’s best to go right when they open and it’s not as busy!
3. Jefferson Memorial
From the Jefferson Memorial you can get an amazing view of The Washington Monument! This area is near the Tidal Basin and popular during the cherry blossom peak bloom in March-April!
