Roosevelt Island is a great park area between DC and Virginia perfect for a surprise proposal or engagement photos! This surprise proposal on Roosevelt Island was near the statue of Roosevelt on one of the two bridges! After the proposal we did portraits on the bridge and on the pathways. This spot also looks great during the fall when the leaves turn!
