DC Hains Point Surprise Proposal

Hains Point is a scenic and historic park located at the southern tip of East Potomac Park in Washington, D.C.Situated where the Potomac River, Anacostia River, and Washington Channel converge, it offers panoramic views of both the D.C. and Arlington skylines. The land that comprises Hains Point was created between 1882 and 1911 by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, using dredged material from the Potomac River to form East Potomac Park . The area is named after Peter Conover Hains, the engineer who designed the Tidal Basin.

I photographed this surprise proposal at Hains Point near sunset time on the side that faces Arlington and DCA! Scroll to view more images! Hains Point is a good option in DC for a surprise proposal location with park areas, greenery, and waterfront views!
